190,000 spectators: new record for the Nîmes Festival

l'essentiel Le Festival de Nîmes, qui se clôture ce samedi avec les concerts de Carbone et Bigflo & Oli, a battu son record, selon la Ville.

 After attracting more than 175,000 spectators in 2023 (+10% compared to 2022), the Nîmes Festival,  programmed by Adam production, reached a new milestone this year. During the 21 musical evenings, which began on May 31 with the legendary Eric Clapton and ends this Saturday, July 20, 190,000 people will have made the trip to the arenas, a new increase of 8.5%. compared to last year, announces the City of Nîmes in a press release.

« This is record attendance, once again. We experienced an extraordinary festival, with many sold-out evenings in front of a captivated audience. The City of Nîmes has succeeded in its challenge »,   rejoices Frédéric Pastor, deputy delegate for Festivities, bullfighting, returnees and local traditions.

Eleven evenings were sold out. "The Festival represents an essential and unique place among summer festivals, driven by an eclectic program, a unique and legendary heritage site and an unrivaled atmosphere"< /em>, welcomes the City in its press release.
