Offensive against the RN, the socialist Carole Delga highlighted the support emanating from the Russian power for the RN.

"I come to support Nicolas Cadène, of course. And above all I come in an approach for a future, for a fraternal, social, secular and ecological Republic. The Republican surge must not be limited to a reprieve. We are at a tipping point and we must offer another alternative."

The socialist president of the Occitanie Region, Carole Delga, was in Nîmes this Friday morning, to support the candidate of the New Popular Front Nicolas Cadène (Ecologists), candidate for the 6th constituency of Gard, and his deputy Béatrice Leccia. Not a coincidence: the 6th is one of the circos whose result is still uncertain before the second round… and which the left wants to win by its nose and beard of the National Rally who came first last week.

Offensive, precisely, against the far-right party, Carole Delga recalls that the RN  "voted against" the recruitment of doctors by the Region to fight against medical desertification. And that on international policy, the RN received the support… of Russian leaders via a  "tweet from  Minister of Russian Foreign Affairs which pointedly says Vote RN, we will have a friend…"And to insist on the risk that  "Vladimir Putin's telegraph operators" comes to power.

"The dynamics are with us"

At his side, Nicolas Cadène is on the same tone: "With the RN, our sovereignty and our place in the world will be undermined. Faced with this major risk, we call for responsibility, explains the candidate who continues to denounce the "social breakdown" which would arise with the arrival of the RN in charge.

Carole Delga, Nicolas Cadène, Béatrice Leccia, but also the elected officials Vincent Bouget, Katy Guyot, Dominique Andrieu-Bonnet, the first federal socialist Pierre Jaumain, then went to meet the inhabitants on the market on avenue Jean-Jaurès. "The dynamic is with us", insists Nicolas Cadène. "The one who wins, in politics, is the one who wants it the most, who does the most, continues Carole Delga. It's the gusto, the strength of conviction that makes the difference. With a brave heart, nothing is impossible."

Nicolas Cadène is opposed to Sylvie Josserand in the 6th constituency. The latter came first in the first round with 42.07% of the votes, compared to 28.77% for Cadène and 20.73 for Colson (Ensemble).
