For this election, Magali Crozier (New Popular Front) will count on the union of the left-wing electorate, her party (LFI), during the European elections having finished second, in Béziers, with 12  nbsp;% of votes. Magali Crozier, already a candidate in 2022, will be replaced by Linda Mendy. The president of Cultures Solidaires has worked hard in recent months to support Palestine in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Daudé-Allaoui, the surprise

Sarah Fatima Daudé-Allaoui is one of the surprises of this election. The former municipal councilor of the municipality of Raymond Couderc and ex-regional councilor of the UMP, returns to political affairs under the colors of the center-right Horizons party. She was excluded from the UMP in 2014, for having joined SIEL (Sovereignty, Identity and Liberties), a "satellite" party. of the National Front. In the 5th constituency, of the six candidates lined up, four were already present in 2022. Stéphanie Galzy, the outgoing member of the National Rally, will still be replaced by Bernard Mula. She says she is approaching this election “with confidence”, strengthened by her election against Pierre Polard (Nupes) with 54.24% of the votes against 45.76. However, she will have to deal with Philippe Huppé (Horizons) who therefore represents the presidential majority. Member of Parliament from 2017 to 2022, he was eliminated during the first round in 2022, having obtained third position in the ballot. Yann Llopis, the mayor of Montagnac, is his deputy.< /p>

The socialist Aurélien Manenc, replaced by Marie-Pierre Pons, the councilor of Cessenon-sur-Orb will count on the left forces (New Popular Front) to make the difference. Véronique Chesnard (Various far left), replaced by Paul Doutre, was already there in 2022, having obtained 0.09% of the votes.

Newcomer to politics, Rémy Groussard, aged 28, will be the youngest candidate in this constituency. Without a political label, the business manager will be replaced by Pierre Alain Groussard. Lilian Bourrie (replacing Antoine Colavita) does not display any political leanings either.
