24 years old and her 85 year old husband is older than his grandfather!

Newlyweds raise eyebrows. The gap between the lovebirds is 61 years. The bride is 24, her husband is 85, 13 years older than the young bride's grandfather, and the couple want to start a family. 

Miracle Pogue from Starkville, Mississippi met her husband Charles while working in a laundry room in 2019. They quickly became friends, according to the Daily Mail.

Realtor at retirement, Charles opened up about his feelings to Miracle a year after they met. He made his big request to the young woman, who became a nurse, in February 2020.

Miracle says her mother Tamika, 45, and grandfather Joe, 72, were supportive of the relationship from the start after seeing how happy Charles made her. The young woman's father, Kareem, 47, proved more difficult to convince. 

“I don't care if he is 100 or 55, I love him for what 'he is. I thought he was maybe 60 or 70 when I met him because he looked fine. It's active,” Miracle said, according to the Daily Mail. 

Despite the fact that Charles is in his 80s, the lovers are thinking of turning to assisted reproduction so that the old man, who has never had children, can become a father for the first time. Miracle wishes to give her two children knowing that she will surely survive him. 

“I want there to be another generation. We want to go to a fertility clinic to know what our options are. We've been to a clinic before, but we felt judgment even though they don't know me. It's quite disturbing, “adds Miracle to the Daily Mail.

The young woman intends to ignore judgments as long as she can become a mother. “Perhaps Charles' age will prevent us from having children, but I keep an open mind. It may not work,” she says. 

Miracle is also being judged on the internet. “I get negative comments from people who don't know me or like me. I put photos of my man online and it provoked reactions that I could not imagine”, laments the young bride.
