On Thursday, August 9, Gard firefighters intervened to put out a fire in a private home in Rochefort-du-Gard.

The fire and rescue department service indicates that a fire in a private home broke out on Thursday, August 9 in the morning. The two tenants were unharmed and will be rehoused by the town hall.

A total of 25 firefighters and 5 vehicles intervened. This massive dispatch of firefighters made it possible to limit the disaster to only part of the house.
Their task was, however, complicated by the composition of the insulation materials in the house during the clearing and stripping operations.

The mayor of Rochefort-du-Gard also went to the scene to facilitate the intervention of the emergency services.
