300 kg of waste collected near the Canal

The Project Rescue Océan association organized, Monday May 13, a waste collection operation along the banks of the Canal du Midi in Béziers. An appointment was given by Benoît Schumann, founder of the association, to students from the Supexup higher school in Béziers and residents of the ASBH training center for a vast operation aimed at collecting as much waste as possible in 1 hour . The fifteen students from the Bachelor section of Supexup were accompanied by Louison Chauvet, their teacher, Magali Dufort and Vanessa Fernanez. Along both banks of the canal and over approximately one kilometer, more than 300 kg of waste of all kinds were collected.
As a reminder, Project Rescue Ocean aims in 2024 to collect 100 tonnes of waste and raise awareness among 10,000 children.
