6 activities not to miss at the Nuit blanche on Saturday

La Nuit blanche will celebrate tomorrow, Saturday February 25, its 20th anniversary and a great return to its original format after three years of pandemic. Cultural and outdoor activities will animate 8 neighborhoods of Montreal all night long.
Here are 6 of the hundred or so free activities not to be missed according to Jacques Primeau, the festival's general manager.
The Loto ice rink- Quebec at the quiet esplanade
This ice rink quickly became the trademark of the festival. His particuliarity? You skate in the open air on two rinks (the skating rink and the Esplanade Tranquille rink) interspersed with a slide while attending free skating performances. This troupe is recognized worldwide for its participatory performances with accents of contemporary dance. Music and DJ until 2am. Skate rental counter.
The 20th anniversary party of the Nuit blanche at the MTELUS
We can dance and warm up all night long at the MTELUS with singer Claudia Bouvette and the dynamic bands Valaire , Wild Things, Kid Koala X Lealani and several djs.
From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
La Nuit blanche at the ONF and La Nuit de l drunkenness of the RVQC
Cinephiles will be delighted with these two proposals. The evening Celebrating Quebec directors, which will be held in the new NFB building and will present a retrospective of the works of great Quebec directors (films and works in virtual reality). Then, La Nuit de l'ivresse by the RVQC at 2-22 will also celebrate local cinema by presenting short films from Quebec under the themes of drunkenness and partying.

Gaming evening at the Monument-National
Called “Watch the sun until it becomes a square”, this amazing evening of “gaming” will appeal to “geeks” who will participate in the Nuit blanche.

Immersive experience at the Satosphere
The artist Maria Takeichi will propose ENN, a project that means circle and connection between human beings and matter. This immersive experience with philosophical overtones will consist of moving projections on the roof of the dome of the SAT (Society for Arts and Technology) and an interactive component. Tapas offered at the Culinary Lab.

Two comedy shows
Want to dilate your spleen? Come to the Grande Bibliothèque to participate in Une Nuit pour les fins et les fous in cabaret and karaoke format in collaboration with the National School of Humor. Then, head to the Gesù for La Nuit on rit! An evening hosted by P-O Forget, bringing together some twenty emerging comedians.
