The entertainment to spend a lot by car, this summer. After the series of shows TD musiparc, which began last month, is the arrival of the first edition of the Festival at the Wheel (FAUV), this weekend at the Montréal-Trudeau airport. Here are seven clubs that we will be able to see Saturday and Sunday evenings.

1. Mehdi Bousaidan

The humorist was the first name announced for the programming of FAUV, in the spring. Having launched his first one-man show, Tomorrow, last year, Bousaidan has the wind in its sails ever since. Recently we have seen in the new issue of improvisation of the Club illico, King Street, and in a dramatic role for the series and My son. The comedian has fun also to laugh at its 70,000 subscribers on TikTok.

2. Mélanie Couture

The former therapist had realized a longtime dream by launching her first solo show, Pure Couture, in the fall of 2019. His tour came to an abrupt end with the pandemic that it is. During the containment, Mélanie Couture continued the animation of his podcast, The Fallopes, it presents with Erich Preach.

3. Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais

Graduate of the national School of humour in 2017, Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais has not lost time to get noticed. During the confinement, the comedian took the opportunity to design many of the songs wacky that it launched on an album called… Songs. Featured in the webseries The driver, on TOU.TV Pierre-Yves is also part of the team of Veronica and the Fantastic on the waves of Red.

4. Yannick De Martino

Like many of his colleagues, Yannick De Martino has made cut the grass under the foot in full momentum with the pandemic. After several years of work, he had launched his first solo show, The dalmatians are huge in the campaign, last November. The comedian has launched last month a new podcast, All the pirates have a disability, on the application of Radio-Canada, OHdio.

5. Christine Morency

It is through improvisation and evenings of humor that Christine Morency has made a name in the middle, these past few years. The comedian, very energetic, who had all broken the Just for laughs festival last year, sees the doors of show-business is open to it. In addition to being the team of the Fantastic, to the side of Jay’s Temple this summer, we recently learned that she will host the show tightrope, this fall, and Z.

6. Arnaud Soly

Arnaud Soly believed to have a spring 2020 memorable with the official launch of his first solo show, Stand-up. Of course, the COVID has messed up his plans. But this master of improvisation has decided to turn this mishap to his advantage by offering Instagram live several times per week, in the spring. The comedian has shown he could camp out several characters, not to be taken aback.

7. Adib Alkhalidey

Part of the organization of the festival Dr. Mobilo Aquafest, Adib Alkhalidey, of course, has seen his event be cancelled in the spring. Not having more project to the calendar, the comedian has launched a new series of video clips of comedy concert tours in the forest. He has also started writing a new feature film with Julien Lacroix, in the company of which he had designed the film My friend Walid.

The first edition of the Festival at the Wheel (FAUV) is taking place this weekend, up to Sunday, and from 10 to 12 July, at the Montréal-Trudeau airport. A pane in Drummondville will also be held on the 24 and 25 July. For info : fauv.ca
