84th HLM congress in Montpellier: the program for this Thursday, September 26

From Tuesday 24 to Thursday 26 September, the 84th HLM Congress will take place at the Montpellier exhibition center, route de la Foire in Pérols, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Here is the program for the closing day this Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Plenary sessions

10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: “Quality of service, residential tranquility, proximity: a collective challenge”?”. The quality of service provided to tenants is a central issue in the profession of social housing organizations, in which they must continually innovate to keep up with changes in society's needs and expectations. While the profession can claim high tenant satisfaction rates, there are still some areas of concern: neighborhood relations, peace and quiet, satisfaction with the neighborhood, etc. HLM organisations can rely on their local organisations to ensure a daily link with residents, but are the phenomena at work their sole responsibility?? What are the roles and responsibilities of other city stakeholders?? Should we consider new modes of cooperation and move towards a “co-produced” quality of service ?

14 h – 15 hours: “Dialogue: what solutions to the housing crisis”?”. In the midst of the presentation and discussion of the 2025 finance bill and after a year 2024 rich in legislative debates around housing, how can we ensure the revival of new production and the rehabilitation of existing housing ?

15 hours, closing session : presentation and vote on the Resolution of the 2024 Congress ; speech by the president of the Social Union for housing ; speech by the government representative.
