With Brassens' second cousin and Bashung's lyricist
"He called me and asked me to join him. It was a nice surprise, says Gaston, the designer based in Frontignan-plage who has just produced a graphic novel around the artist's life. This visit, in a small group, took place in the company of Jean Fauque, the lyricist of Bashung who lives in Frontignan, and his partner, Bruno Granier, Brassens' second cousin.
Private meal
After this little tour in this typical neighborhood of the singular island, the day ended with a meal at a friend's house. Then Renaud returned to Isle sur Sorgue.
Please note that Gaston will sign his book this Saturday from 2:30 p.m. at the Sauramps on the Place de la Comédie, in Montpellier.
