A day dedicated to the environment
This Thursday is a day dedicated to the protection of the environment. It comes alive all day day on the quai du Maroc. At 9 h 30 , "Escale bleue", sponsored by Ifremer, is introduced by the environmental sponsor of the festival and biologist, François Houllier.
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., follow the first conference, in the dedicated room quai du Maroc, "produce better and feed yourself better in a world without sea and lagoon workers, a human approach to the energy transition."
After eating, at 2:30 p.m., listen to the second lecture : "better protect : qualities and defects of the human presence in the face of nature, an international approach."
To conclude the theme of the day, the Environment village opens at 5 p.m.. The objective is to educate visitors about the protection of marine environments. The stand comes alive thanks to local institutions and seafarers who will share the good environmental practices of their profession.
Boats and sport
If you're not in the mood, go to the Maritime Games, which offer a rowing race set to the rhythm by the Bagad du Pays group from Aix, on the quai Commandant Samary at 11 a.m.. At the same place at 15 h 30, watch the tug of war. May the best win!
On the boat side, admire between the Quai du Commandant Samary and the Quai du Maroc at 12 p.m. ;nbsp;30, the sailing parade "Mediterranean ship" to the sound of traditional music from Els Salancaires.
Immersions with sailors from elsewhere
Two villages will be inaugurated this Thursday March 28 on the quai d’Algiers with for each a speech, a presentation of the delegation concerned and a tasting with the flavor of the country or region. The first at 11 h, celebrates Italy. The second, at 6 h 30, officiates the Corsican stand, guest of honor of this 2024 edition.

End your day with the work of Sara Millot, "Dockville". His film, broadcast at 7:30 p.m. on the Aspirant-Herber quay, follows the workers of the commercial port of Sète for several months.
