Le groupe Arrelia a investi 5 M€ pour surélever l’établissement de deux étages, passant de 30 à 46 chambres et suites, dont 40 avec vue sur mer.

Two more floors and a major renovation: the La Plage hotel in La Grande-Motte, located on Allée du Levant, a stone's throw from the Passe des Abîmes, celebrated its new walls this Thursday, June 6. A proper inauguration which was also that of its Cocobaïa straw hut, open from April to September. The year 2024 is synonymous with a restart and a new ambition for the palace, bought by the Arrelia group in 2019, just before Covid and which invested 5 million euros here. The establishment is the only 5-star in La Grande-Motte.

Swimming pool redone, building raised, the work cost the Arrelia group €5 million.

"The work allowed an extension with a two-story elevation and the increase from 30 rooms to 46 rooms and suites, 40 of which have a sea view&quot ;, explains Xavier Debaisieux, new general director of the palace. A boss who, under the leadership of Matthieu Blanc, president of the Arrelia group, recruited immediately after his arrival chef Jérôme Bartoletti, who worked at the Imperator de Nîmes, but also at the Domaine de Verchant, like Xavier Debaisieux.

The restaurant is also open to guests from outside the hotel.

The hotel has also revised its seminar room, doubling it with a second space. "If summer reservations are good, and we already have weekends with a good occupancy rate, business and seminar customers are also an audience that we are targeting. There is a strong demand for these services and here, in La Grande-Motte, we have the advantage of offering the work room and seaside services, it’s unique&nbsp ;!"
