Triathlon: the Sétois are downgrading but still aiming for the regional Top 10
|The sailor-striped riders finished thirteenth out of twenty.
The Sète Thau Triathlon finished thirteenth out of twenty at the Nailloux Triathlon (Haute-Garonne).
Vivien Levacher finished 34th, Laurent Tétu 52nd and Guillaume Bosc 75th, on a course that was poorly suited to the "light heavy" category, with 300 metres of elevation gain on the bike section and a muddy run.
The Sète club thus dropped two places in the general ranking, but intends to reach the Top 10 in the last round. It will take place this Sunday, June 16, in Revel, still in Haute-Garonne.
This last triathlon of the D3 regional championship will take place in team time trials. And the good news for Sète Thau Triathlon is that Antony Coste will be coming to reinforce this occasion. Enough to fuel the best hopes for this “final”.
