The disaster occurred early in the morning of this Thursday, July 4, in a village near Alès.
On the morning of Thursday, July 4, at 6:20 a.m., the Gard firefighters intervened in Générargues, a village in the Cévennes, where, in a 270 m2 farmhouse divided into three dwellings, a fire had broken out in an electric meter, which quickly spread to a kitchen.
The rapid intervention of the emergency services made it possible to limit the disaster to this apartment kitchen.
