Stabbed?

She was stabbed to death. The victim, aged 63 according to Spanish television channel Telecinco, appeared to be traveling alone as a tourist. Before stopping in Alcossebre, she would have stayed in Tarragona, about 150 km to the north.

Joined by a man?

Authorities were alerted by nearby residents, who had noticed suspicious movements inside the camper. Arriving on scene, local police found the vehicle open. Inside, the woman, already dead, showed signs of serious injuries, underlines 20 minutes.

Investigation in progress

If she was traveling alone, the victim would have been joined by a man, according to the first testimonies collected by the newspaper El Espanol de Valencia. The man in question is currently untraceable.

An autopsy was to be carried out, according to the Guardia Civil, which took charge of the investigation.
