“I have a slight concussion, a few bruises everywhere, but nothing broken by a miracle. And six stitches under my chin, so I will have a good memory of the Games”, declared the reigning vice-world champion on Monday July 29 on the sidelines of the men's event on the Elancourt hill.

The day before, she had fallen heavily, head first, during a descent. Dazed, she was evacuated on a stretcher but was there at the end of the press conference to congratulate gold medalist Pauline Ferrand-Prévot.

“I am still under surveillance by the Federation doctor for 48 hours. And then rest for a week", said the 24-year-old from Savoy, who was in the running for a medal at the time of her fall.

Banned from screens

"Until the fall, everything was going well. For first place, we saw that Pauline (Ferrand-Prévot) was above, there was no point in imagining anything. But I was in the game for the medal."

"I'm not allowed screens for a while, for my brain. And now, my phone has been broken for a week. If I wanted to cut off, it's a forced disconnection and it feels good. So I don't give anyone any news", added the Frenchwoman, who plans to return in time for the World Championships at the end of August in Andorra.
