500 m2 of fields went up in smoke on Monday, August 5, in the afternoon, at Les Combes, in the commune of Monts-de-Randon.

Forest Fire Intervention Group

A Forest Fire Intervention Group (GIFF) has been mobilized. It was made up of engines and firefighters from the fire and rescue centres of Rieutort-de-Randon, Marvejols, Mende, and Serverette. Agricultural work was the cause of the disaster, which was quickly brought under control.
