“We must avoid another Outreau affair”: a man arrested while offering to exchange little girls and gang rapes

Un homme de 39 ans a été arrêté et incarcéré par le parquet de Toulouse pour "agressions sexuelles sur mineurs","enregistrement, détention et diffusion d’images pornographiques de mineurs".

A man from Toulouse was arrested, charged and imprisoned at the beginning of August for “sexual assault on minors”, “recording, possession and distribution of pornographic images of minors”, according to information from our colleagues at La Dépêche.

It all started with the reporting of a suspicious individual to the Paris juvenile brigade. A former pedophile “repentant”indicates that a man offers on an online forum the exchange of little girls, kidnappings and gang rapes but also distributes images and videos.

The investigations lead to a man from Toulouse, and the case is entrusted to the Toulouse Saint-Michel gendarmerie. But the investigation also shows that the suspect would have rented numerous lodgings throughout France, with the aim of "exchanging little girls". One of his partners even sent him photos of her daughters, aged 6 and 10.

He says he is "relieved"

After identifying four victims, aged 6, 10, 11 and 13, the police arrested the man near Saint-Jory, a town located about twenty kilometers from Toulouse. The accused does not show any surprise and says he is “relieved” to have been arrested, indicates La Dépêche.

The investigations are continuing, in particular with the exploitation of his computer and his mobile phone. “In this environment, the line between fantasy and reality is very thin. Every word must be verified. We must avoid a second Outreau affair", said a source close to the case. The justice system suspects the man of being part of a national pedophilia network.
