This Sunday evening, August 18, a fire broke out in Nissan lez Ensérune. More than 200 firefighters from the Biterrois barracks were mobilized to the scene.

This Sunday evening, August 18, firefighters from Biterrois, but also from Piscénois were mobilized to a vegetation fire in Nissan lez Ensérune. There were just over 200 of them, around 11pm, fighting the flames without the planes that had circled late, at the end of the day on the fire that ravaged 300 hectares of vegetation in Gigean in the Gardiole massif. At 11pm, Sunday, more than 20 hectares of pine forests had been destroyed by the fire. A fire fanned by a sustained wind and gusts at times.
