A large number of police officers and TAM agents carried out checks on 80 people on Friday 23 August. A minor was arrested in possession of knives, and 37 people were fined, in particular for not having a valid transport ticket.
This Friday, August 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., identity and security checks were carried out at the terminus of tram line 1 and at the Mosson bus stop.
Many police officers took part, as well as officers from the Metropolitan Transport Police, the Tam and the municipal police.
Arrest for carrying a prohibited weapon
80 people were checked on nine tram lines and two bus lines. bus.
A 17-year-old minor was arrested and taken into custody for carrying a prohibited weapon (two knives including an Opinel 12).
37 reports were issued for non-compliance with public transport rules. No attacks on sexist and sexual violence – one of the objectives of this operation – were noted.
