De nombreuses sensations fortes et des paysages à couper le souffle à plus de 18 m de haut. Des parcours sportifs et familiaux sont à découvrir dans les arbres de la forêt d’acrobates, domaine de Bessilles à Montagnac. À vos baskets…

Aerial skating, Tarzan jumps, rope bridges, tightrope cables, zigzag boards, mini rotating cylinders, climbing nets, not forgetting the famous zip lines that enter the heart of the forest… for families and athletes alike, the treetop courses of the acrobat forest have something to delight everyone. Many thrills and breathtaking landscapes at over 18 m high. Enough to feast your eyes on.

At the Bessilles departmental park in Montagnac, a small handful of intrepid people decided to venture onto the trails this Sunday, August 25. Upon arrival, Chloé and her colleagues await the future adventurers in a cabin, to equip them with harnesses and give them instructions “safety first, never detach your carabiners from the lifeline". Visitors must complete the training course before going up high. On vacation, Sophie and Christophe, originally from Aveyron, chose this activity for their daughter: "It's a fun activity that captures their attention and helps them concentrate. This is our very first time, we chose this attraction because it was more detailed than the others on the internet."

Lilliputian Trail enlarged

In the 2000s, the head of the company Global Aventure, Stéphane Panier, created three children's courses (3-6 years) and five adult courses (over 6 years). As on the ski slopes, the courses have been divided into levels of difficulty, three discoveries in green (easy up to 10 m high), one panoramic in blue (intermediate) and one sporty in red (expert).

“We have the highest courses in the region up to 20 m. Last winter, we renovated and extended the Lilliputiens (children's) cocoon, caterpillar and butterfly courses. The work lasted almost two months“, confides Noémie Marilleau, operational manager.”The manager has chosen to make this park a place on a human scale. The objective is to allow monitoring and ensure the safety of the service, thanks to three people with a professional certificate and a reception manager.” Even “if attendance during the year was very quiet due to inflation, the Olympic Games and political instability, the summer was rather fruitful. July visitors are less strict about their spending than August visitors."

Among the visitors, Tom and Zoé, 12 years old, have completed their course:"It was great, we weren't even scared. I have to say that our climbing lessons at school served us well." Coming from Le Pouget, Amélie finds that "this activity allows people who are afraid of heights to surpass themselves."

In August, every day from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Last departure 5 p.m. September, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tel: 04 34 48 02  39. contact@global-aventure.com. Shooting activities (paintball, archery tag, outdoor laser game, gellyball, archery) and various packs are also offered. I subscribe to read the rest
