The young girl who had not had Léon Marchand's autograph has just received gifts from the French swimmer: a signed book and a swimming cap.
On August 5, TF1 filmed a young girl who was about to ask her idol Léon Marchand for an autograph. Problem: the swimmer didn't see her and continued on his way. Two days later, with the help of a TF1 journalist, Marchand called Apolline promising that he would send her gifts, which is now done.
A signed swimming cap and book
Apolline received two gifts this morning from her “model” Léon Marchand. The first gift is a signed white swimming cap.

The second is a book recounting the exploits of the four-time Olympic champion, also signed by the Toulouse swimmer. However, it seems that the young girl has still not obtained the autograph she so desired on her notebook.
Marchand had also distinguished himself during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by giving one of his gold medals to Lucas, a 14-year-old teenager in remission from cancer.
