The Nîmes Rugby Club season launch party took place on Thursday, September 5th in Rue Auguste, exceptionally privatized for the occasion, with the Maison Carrée as a sumptuous backdrop.
This Thursday, September 5th, Nîmes Rugby Club pulled out all the stops for its season launch party. It was hosted by Olivier Biscaye, editorial director and deputy director of Midi Libre, the club's preferred partner.
Training component, accession component, societal component
And what could be better than a UNESCO heritage monument, the Maison Carrée, to host the back-to-school event of a club with strong ambitions. “We have three objectives: training, that the 1st team plays the leading roles in National 2 (promotion to National was defined as an objective) and the societal side. “We want to be a major player in the city,” stressed the president of the Nîmes club, Steeve Calligaro.

After the presentation speeches, Benjamin Barnerias and his teammates were introduced to the 1200 or so people who had taken their places in the rue Auguste, exceptionally privatized for the occasion.
