Students from Lepap Maurice-Clavel in Frontignan attended the Paralympic Games

It was the cherry on the cake. Involved in recent years in the educational project of the Maurice-Clavel Lepap in Frontignan, entitled Let's Sport the Olympics, 44 students from the final year Bac Pro SAPAT (Services aux Personnes et Animation dans les Territoires) and TCV (Technicien Conseil Vente) classes have just spent three days in Paris, with five chaperones to attend the Paralympic Games.

Four sites visited

As part of this operation, these students had organized touch rugby tournaments but also welcomed disabled athletes (notably sitting volleyball). As a reward, they were able to go up to the capital to go to the Club France before attending, on Thursday, the wheelchair basketball matches at the Aréna Bercy site in the morning and the Cecifoot at the Stade Tour Eiffel in the late afternoon. On Friday, before returning, they were able to go to the stands at Roland-Garros for the wheelchair tennis tournament. Enough to make a nice souvenir case.
