Et sur les pylones de projecteurs du stade Sabathé ! Midi Libre

About fifty storks landed this Tuesday evening on the roof of the Saint-Cléophas church, at the bottom of the avenue de Toulouse and on the floodlight pylons of the neighboring Sabathé stadium. A spectacle that is always astonishing.

It is undoubtedly the sign of a summer that is slowly going away. This Tuesday early evening, a colony of storks interrupted its migration flight towards the south to land delicately on the roof of the Saint-Cléophas church, in the lower part of the Croix-d'Argent district.

Another colony observed at Les Arceaux

Due to lack of space on the roof ridge, some of the birds found refuge on the floodlight pylons of the neighboring Sabathé stadium.

A spectacle that is always astonishing but not so rare. About ten days ago, an equivalent colony had settled on the same building for the night. Another group was noticed on the church of the Assumption, at Arceaux. Their migration towards the warm regions takes place from the end of August until October.
