This trophy is sponsored by SIETEL.

Eric Freitas, Anne Montariol, Cédric Garcia, Patrick Moissonier and Jean-Claude Higon

He is always there, sometimes to wash the jerseys, sometimes to cook for the senior team before their home game. A game that he will certainly not be able to watch in its entirety, because he will be at the refreshment bar to bring in a little money for the club's coffers.

“There could have been 10 or 20”

Money, he doesn't care, he doesn't come to the club for that, he prefers human contact and the “thanks” from the kids at the rugby school when he gives them a snack on Wednesday afternoon. He's the volunteer, and he's an essential link in the cogs of amateur clubs. This trophy aims to highlight five personalities who make their contribution to their respective clubs but also to the departmental committee of Hérault.
“There are five of them, but they could have been 10 or 20”, praises Didier Ceysson, president of CD34, who was able to slip in a little word on each of the five FFR medalists recently rewarded.

Different profiles

“Éric Freitas is a local boy. I don't know how he does it, between his work, the ASBH, his presence on the committee. He has 30 lives. He always responds”, explains the elected official. Anne Montariol, head of the Servian-Boujan rugby school, was also honored. “Anne is someone who gives an incredible amount of time to her club, to her young people at the SBR. “It's a must-see”, he continues.

For Cédric Garcia, the right-hand man of President Ceysson, “he's my friend, he's a young president. He's a teacher. He's a guy who deserves it, who's involved on a social level, in teaching. He's going to do great things for the committee in the future.”

The fourth thief is Patrick Moissonier, the treasurer of CD34. “He's a soldier, in rugby for forty years. He's a guy who's available and knows how to take a step back from his club, for which he gives a lot, RO Lunel“, explains Ceysson.

“These guys who do a lot and who we never see”

And finally, Jean-Claude Higon: “He represents “the little hands” present in all the clubs. People that everyone likes to have. “These are the guys who do a lot and who we never see, I admire these guys. These guys are men of heart”, the president concluded.
