“A complex equation to solve”: what the government that Michel Barnier is not expected to unveil “before Sunday” could look like ?

The new government should not be known & “before Sunday” , according to the spokesperson for the LR deputies Vincent Jeanbrun because Michel Barnier has “a complex equation to solve” to form an executive that will have to include "people who have experience" to get the budget voted on.

"We will have a hard time getting it before Sunday", Mr. Jeanbrun acknowledged on Sud Radio on Monday, recalling that the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life (HATVP) also had to "verify the integrity of each member of the government".

On Wednesday, Michel Barnier had indicated that the government would be known this week. The Prime Minister "has a complex equation to solve where you have to add up the forces, so that means having personalities from the Republican right and it would make sense to have personalities like Laurent Wauquiez, like Bruno Retailleau, maybe like Valérie Pécresse, but obviously who have to be added to other personalities from other political parties", he specified.
