Five injured, two seriously, in two separate accidents on the RN106 and the RN88

Saturday, September 28, 2024, two road accidents occurred around 4:30 p.m. on the RN106 and the RN88. A total of five people were injured, including one transported by the Dragon 34 to Montpellier.

Around 4:30 p.m. this Saturday, on the RN106, in the commune of Saint-Privat-de-Vallongue, a 28-year-old motorcyclist fell. He was the only one involved in the accident. The Collet-de-Dèze firefighters were called and intervened to help him. Given the seriousness of the injuries, they called the Dragon 34 helicopter. The victim was evacuated to the Lapeyronie hospital in Montpellier.

Four injured in another accident

Still around 4:30 p.m., on the RN 88 at the Col de la Pierre-Plantée, two vehicles were involved in a road accident. The firefighters from Châteauneuf-de-Randon, Langogne, du Bleymard, Rieutort-de-Randon and a Samu unit intervened. Four people were injured, including one seriously injured, a 78-year-old man. The other victims were less seriously injured, all of whom were taken to Mende hospital.
