Autumn has already started several weeks ago, if temperatures have dropped in recent days, the mercury should rise again for the coming weekend, according to the forecasts of Météo France. Thus, the thermometer should display more than 25 °C, particularly in the south of France.
Summer temperatures
Although summer is well and truly over and autumn has started since September 22, rain has fallen in France in recent weeks in several regions of the country. However, the next few days should have a summer feel, especially in the South-West.
The weather station is predicting very nice weather, especially in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, for Saturday. Thus, it should be around 25 °C in several cities in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, such as Bayonne, Pau and along the Spanish border.
With the sun shining over the region on Saturday afternoon, the feeling should even be higher than the forecasts of Météo France. Sunday, even if the day will be rainy in Gironde, Lot-et-Garonne and several other departments on the Atlantic coast, temperatures should still remain very high in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The thermometer should display around 30 °C, in the Landes as well.
However, these temperatures are very high for the season, since they are between 7 and 8 °C above normal, indicates Le Parisien. In the rest of the country, the sun will be present across the whole of France with temperatures ranging between 14 and 17 °C on Saturday, and some clouds and rain on Sunday with similar temperatures.
In Occitanie
In Occitanie, the weather will be milder. It should be a little over 20 °C in Montpellier, up to 23 in Nîmes this Saturday. On the other hand, on Sunday, the thermometer will display between 17 and 18 °C for the Hérault city as well as the Gard capital.
Rain and storms should return to the region from the beginning of the week, and this, for several days.
