Open Sud de France: the VIP village of the Sud de France Arena briefly evacuated following a false alarm Tuesday evening

The VIP village adjoining the South of France Arena in Pérols near Montpellier was briefly evacuated on the evening of Tuesday January 30 following a false alarm. 

While the match lost by Richard Gasquet against the Spaniard Pablo Llamas Ruiz was ending, the VIP village of the Open Sud de France, stuck to the Sud de France Arena had to be evacuated for a few minutes on Tuesday evening.

Lights on and sound message

The fault is a false fire alarm triggered by error or technical problem, causing all the lights in the VIP village to come on completely and an audible message asking for assistance ;evacuation.

Only a few minutes after the alarm, everyone was able to redirect to the VIP village to continue the evening as normal, according to the organizers.
