Le point sur l'état de la circulation sur les routes du Gard ce jeudi 1er février en début de soirée.

The blocking of the A9 motorway at the Nîmes Ouest interchange this Thursday, February 1 further disrupted traffic in the south of Gard. However, for the first time since the beginning of the week, the Gard prefecture indicates that there is an improvement in traffic on the secondary network.

But there are still "persistent" in Aimargues on the RD 6313 and the RN 113, on the Chemin des Canaux (RD 135) between Vauvert and Nîmes, as well as in Saint-Gilles (RD 6572). This Thursday evening, the motorway remains closed between Nîmes Est and Gallargues-le-Montueux in both directions as well as from Remoulins from south to north. It is not possible to travel on the A54 in both directions between Nîmes Ouest and Nîmes Garons.

Operation Snail

The blockage of the A9 could however not last since the call to suspend the blockades launched by the FNSEA and Young Farmers unions after the latest ministerial announcements.

But this Friday, February 2, another difficulty will be added. Indeed, a snail operation led by angry liberal nurses will leave the Darty car park from 1 p.m. The vehicles will then circulate on Boulevard Allende, Avenues de la Liberté and Avenue Jean-Jaurès before going to Quai de la Fontaine, then heading towards Rue du Cirque Romain, in front of the CPAM, at the end of this action.
