GATINEAU | A body that could be that of a woman missing since two days following an “incident boating” was rescued from the water in the Ottawa river Tuesday.
The police of Gatineau announced, in late afternoon, a body was found in the water around 17: 15 with the help of divers from the Sûreté du Québec.
The identity of the victim has not been confirmed in the immediate future.
However, the relief were already in search of a woman who had gone missing in the Ottawa river Sunday evening at 18 h in an incident involving a boat.
Another person was injured and transported to hospital for treatment of injuries that did not put his life in danger, had explained to the police on Monday.
