A brush fire threatened the area of ​​a supermarket near the RN 113 in Milhaud

The firefighters extinguished this fire this Sunday, August 4, in the middle of the afternoon.

This Sunday, August 4, it took Gard firefighters four hours to eliminate any risk of a stubble and brush fire spreading in Milhaud, in an area near a supermarket and the RN 113. The fire broke out around 11:30 a.m. this Sunday.

It required rapid intervention by emergency services with ten forest fire tanker trucks, the support of seven helicopter drops water bomber of the Sdis du Gard. The disaster was thus limited to 5 hectares and did not “jump” the RN 113. Traffic on this road was however cut off for the duration of the intervention by the gendarmes.
