Although the vital prognosis of the driver and a passenger is not in jeopardy, their condition remains very worrying at the moment. The two men were transferred to the Salpêtrière hospital and the Henri-Mondor hospital, say the Paris firefighters.

In the accident, ten other people were injured, but more lightly. They were still treated by emergency services and taken to hospitals in the capital. According to the first findings of the police, the man who was behind the wheel of the vehicle fell asleep, explains the daily.

The resources mobilized, namely around forty men, but also the front of the bus which was completely broken, bear witness to the violence of the impact. This is a Keolis bus from the Val-d’Yerres agglomeration community – Val-de-Seine, which provided the RER D connection, details Le Parisien.

The police headquarters announced this morning that a judicial investigation is underway and that it will have to determine the exact causes of the accident.
