TORONTO | rapper ontario Houdini, which enjoyed a great popularity on Spotify, was killed Tuesday afternoon in downtown Toronto. He was 21 years old.
The artist was struck by ball on the outside of the hotel Bisha, police said in toronto. A 15 year old boy and a 27 year old woman were also wounded, but we aren’t afraid for their lives.
The rapper seems to have been targeted by his assailant.
“According to information we have now, the suspect vehicle has waited 40 minutes [outside the hotel],” said the chief police Mark Saunders to Global News.
The attack occurred when Houdini, the wife and the boy are headed to a vehicle.
“The suspect vehicle did a u-turn, came and opened fire on the group of individuals,” said Mark Saunders. The police believe that the woman was not targeted, unlike the other two.
A native of Brampton, Ontario, Houdini was the canadian rapper independent the most popular on Spotify in 2019 with 9.2 million downloads.
