A crazy weekend for the Art of Thalie de Lunel

The 20th anniversary is worth celebrating. And they did! A.C.

The association dedicated to live performance had scheduled the restitution of the year's workshops this Saturday, May 25 at the Espace Brassens. The day before, in the same place, she celebrated no less than her 20th birthday!

We read it. We say it. We often write it. But who knows who Thalie really is, this muse of Greek mythology who presides over the Comedy ? It’in any case it’s first name that a handful of volunteers decided to enter for the’ rsquo;name of their association dedicated to live shows: the Art of Thalie.

Two decades in the name of live performance

This weekend was at the peak of the last years of the association. Starting on Friday evening, May 24, at Espace Brassens, with its 20th anniversary.

An anniversary that attracted members, partners, volunteers… and even around ten municipal elected officials, to the great pleasure of President Colette Dehondt. This too could be seen as recognition of all the work put in place over the past two decades.

A wide range of work carried out in the year

Another work was placed under the spotlight of Brassens, the next afternoon, with the restitution of the different workshops of the Art of Thalie: theater, improv, mime, bodily expression , singing, dancing, instruments…

Everything was there to the delight of the families who came to applaud their budding artists aged from 3 to 18 years old. On stage, a range representative of what the Art of Thalie has been able to put in place for 20 years.
