Staffordshire Terrier named Ivor was born deaf. According to the newspaper Metro, because of this deficiency, the puppy could not find a permanent home. Nobody wanted to take care of him: get rid of the five owners.
And then, finally, Ivor luck. He came under the tutelage of the British Royal society of protection of animals from cruel treatment (RSPCA). From there the dog took to his people, who sincerely loved her family, Emily Bromilow. Moreover, thanks to them and to specialists RSPCA ten-month-old puppy has learned to understand sign language. It can carry out commands such as “sit”, “lie”, “come here.”
“We do a lot of talking, though he can’t hear a word,” says Emily. She said that all other senses of Ivor is in order — especially the sense of smell. So he loves the game, when the owners are hiding some thing in the house, and then invite him to find. It also comes in excitement when he is given a sign “walk”. “We keep him on a long leash. And when he looks, give him the signal to approach, raising his hand up,” — said Emily.
