The president of Reconquest is expected this Tuesday, January 23, in the early evening, in a room in Garosud for a meeting with the activists of his party. Several left-wing organizations, associations and political parties are calling for demonstrations against this gathering of the far-right movement.

Éric Zemmour is expected this Tuesday evening in Montpellier for a meeting with activists from his Reconquest party. But the arrival of the far-right polemicist in a room in Garosud is contested by left-wing organizations and parties, according to which it is "a serious first in Montpellier". 

Risk of "disturbing public order"

This arrival is considered to represent "a strong risk of disturbances to public order". The latter are therefore calling for a protest rally this Tuesday evening at 6 p.m., at Alain-Bashung park in Saint-Martin. A meeting place located several hundred meters from the room where Eric Zemmour is to speak.
