Le pilote mendois Killian Lunier a remporté, le week-end des 17 et 18 août 2024 en Finlande, le championnat d’Europe d’enduro en catégorie junior.

The European Enduro Championship is not yet over, but Killian Lunier has already won the title of European Champion in the junior category.

Consistency and experience

This competition has four rounds: the first in March in Italy, the second in June in San Marino, the third in August, therefore, in Finland, and the last in November in Germany. The first three rounds were enough for Killian Lunier, obviously happy, to secure the top step of the podium: “After two French Champion titles, I wanted to perform at European level. I have been playing at a high level since I was 16, it is part of my life", confides the highly motivated semi-professional.

"My strong points are consistency and experience, analyses the Mende enduro rider. I won four out of six days, and on the others I finished second. And this is the second time I have participated in this competition; two years ago, I was vice-champion of Europe."

So here he is on the first step this time. He will still be in Berlin in November, for the final stage, competing in the French team for the nations ranking (a title he won two years ago).

Other challenges

Killian Lunier tames a Kawasaki KL 250 for the DSN Moto competition team (with the support of Michelin, Kenny, Scorpion Exo, 100 Percent, Ohlins, among others). He is also entered in the French championship in the Elite category: “I am currently 4th, and the podium is within reach. I will also be competing in the final of the world championship, which is being held in France from September 13 to 15. I am aiming for a podium on the day.” The world championship has eight rounds, with the possibility of participating in only one or a few events. The final round will be held in Brioude (Haute-Loire), and the Lozérien will take advantage of it to participate. And why not add a world podium to his list of achievements.
