The artistic elite met at Place des Arts on Tuesday evening to attend this great Montreal comeback of Notre Dame de Paris. Even if the last visit to Quebec of the production is rather recent, in 2018, the new version is interesting in that it brings together two performers from the original troupe of 1998: Daniel Lavoie and Bruno Pelletier. Many personalities were therefore on Tuesday wanting to find Pelletier in the skin of Gringoire, a role he had neglected for 22 years. Unsurprisingly, the red carpet has seen a host of artists from different backgrounds. Co-creator of the show, with Richard Cocciante, Luc Plamondon could not miss this event, he who had also attended the New York premiere of Notre Dame de Paris last month.
