A girl violently beaten by students on a Florida bus

The parents of a 9-year-old Florida girl who was violently beaten by two students on a school bus in front of her classmates are calling for criminal charges against the two young assailants.

In a disturbing video shared by the New York Post, we see the little girl curled up on a bus seat, trying somehow to protect herself from the violent and repeated blows of two boys on her head, neck and face.

During the 30-second attack on the young student at Coconut Palm K-8 Academy in Homestead, no adult intervenes.< /p>

Heartbroken by the images circulating, the parents of the young victim have reportedly confirmed to Local News 10 that they have filed a complaint against the school and will be taking criminal action against the young attackers.

“It's very crazy because despite all the shouting on the bus, the two adults on the bus – the driver and the bus assistant – are only seated at the front”, allegedly lamented the mother, who asked to remain anonymous.

Same story in Quebec

This attack comes at a time when Quebec is reporting a marked increase in violence in its schools, while the number of videos of students being beaten by comrades continues to cause ink to flow.

In several school service centers, violence has reportedly doubled, even tripled, also reported the Liberal MP for Saint-Laurent Marwah Rizqy on Wednesday.

For example, at the Center des services scolaire des Mille-Îles, the number of incidents s of violence would have increased from 2500 in 2018-2019 to 4200 in 2021-2022.
