The cotton

It is best to iron silk at low temperature, without steam, on the inside, while the garment is still damp and then hang.

The synthetic fibers

The synthetic fibers are heat sensitive. Therefore, it is preferable to wash in cold or warm water so that they do boulochent not and retain their shape after washing. If needed, iron the garment at low temperature.

Elastane, spandex, lycra

These mixes of synthetic fibers known for their elasticity must be hand washed with mild soap in cold or lukewarm water. Avoid the dryer and let it dry in the open air.

The polyester

These clothes wash in the machine and generally do not cause too many headaches. However, washing with hot water could strain yourself. Only oil, grease and sweat will permeate and stain the polyester. To remove, just pat with the hand the stained fabric with liquid detergent until the fibers are well soaked. The use of Bleach is to be avoided. Then wash the garment in the gentle cycle in warm water, unless the manufacturer recommends a cold-water wash.

Viscose

Wash these clothes in the washing machine, avoiding the twist or wring. The use of Bleach is not recommended. It is preferable to suspend the clothes to dry and avoid the heat of the dryer.

Swimwear small care

As soon as possible after swimming, rinse the garment under a tap of warm water, taking care to remove all residues of sand and salt, which fit easily into the elastic bands.

Wash the shirt by hand in warm water, never in the washer, even on gentle cycle. Use a soap or a liquid detergent for delicate fabrics without bleach. Don’t soak the shirt, press it between your hands and rinse. The shirt does not go in the dryer, avoid the clothesline exposed to sunlight and, ideally, hang for drying in the interior of the house.

Practice tip for the caps

The inner contour of the sports caps are spot quickly in contact with body oils. They can be cleaned in the dishwasher on the top tray… but of course, without our plates still covered with tomato sauce.

Prepare a washing exclusive of caps well stuck on bowls, marrying the best of their form and let them dry in the open air, on the counter.
