A Nîmes police officer on leave saves an assaulted man
#GARD Alexandre, 50, assigned to the judicial police of Nîmes is currently in Paris as part of the security of the Paralympic Games. Last Saturday, he was enjoying an evening off, when he witnessed a violent fight.
“Off duty or not, it doesn't matter. We're police officers 24 hours a day!”, he explains. Faced with this outbreak of violence, Alexandre decides without hesitation to intervene. The attacker fled and the Nîmes police officer called for help while the victim, who had received countless puncture wounds to the abdomen, lost consciousness several times. The attacked man was then taken to hospital in an absolute emergency with a life-threatening prognosis.
Today, he is out of danger. His alleged attacker, who was quickly arrested, was also brought before the Paris prosecutor's office. A judicial investigation was subsequently opened against him for "attempted murder".
Six former Camaïeu employees contest their dismissals

A month later, however, on August 28, the Elior company, the new service provider, contacted by the employees, denied the resumption of their contracts.
Not wanting to be caught out, the employees nevertheless went to the workplace on September 1, after their vacation. The management of the MSP, while regretting the situation, did not open the doors to them. The employees have notified the labor inspectorate and are in despair about their situation.
An incubator reserved for decarbonized companies
