DANVILLE | A laboratory for the production of méthamphtamine was dismantled at Danville, near Asbestos, in the Estrie region.
The police operation which is still ongoing, is being conducted by the investigations Team and the coordination on organized crime (EECCO) of Drummondville, said Saturday the Sûreté du Québec by issuing a press release.
The operation was triggered after the arrests made Friday in Montreal, Terrebonne and Danville, stated the SQ.
The suspects who remain in custody are expected to appear Monday at the courthouse in Drummondville to face charges on drugs.
“The dismantling of the laboratory for the production of synthetic drugs is one of six locations raided by the police in the course of this investigation initiated in the fall of 2019”, has been added.
The operation, obviously in a large-scale, mobilized some fifty police officers of the investigation Division and the coordination on the organized crime Squad regional mixed, of the investigation Division, major crimes, the investigations Division, MRC, of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal, Service de police de Terrebonne, MRC and Sources of Pierre-de Saurel of the Sûreté du Québec.
