The victim, aged 28, saw death up close.
A 28-year-old Montpellier man was shot and injured during the night from Friday to Saturday, February 10, around 11 p.m., avenue du Père-Soulas.
The victim is the companion of a shopkeeper who has been exasperated, for several weeks, by unfair competition imposed by street tobacco sellers in front of her establishment.
The dialogue was cut short
That evening, he would have liked to have explanations with the troublemakers. But the dialogue was cut short. One of the accused actually took out a gun and fired it, before fleeing.
Taken care of by an acquaintance, the twenty-year-old was transported by car to the emergency room of Lapeyronie hospital. Fortunately, his vital prognosis is not compromised. But he saw death up close. An investigation is underway to try to identify his attacker.
