MONTREAL | A pedestrian forty years has been seriously wounded Thursday evening when he was struck by an SUV that then fled, in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville in Montreal.
The hit-and-run occurred at about 19: 25 pm at the intersection of the rue Sauvé Ouest and the boulevard de l’acadie.
The victim, whose life is not in danger, despite the importance of his injuries, was crossing the boulevard de l’acadie to the west when it would have been snapped up by the SUV, which was traveling north on Acadia.
At the end of the evening, the police was still searching for the driver who refused to stop.
An investigation into the collision has been triggered, and the traffic was disrupted in the area.
