Billie Eilish has assured that her next album, to be released in 2021, will not be a depressing COVID album. Which does not mean that she did not have her pandemic project… She has spent hours over the last few months rummaging through her family albums and will publish in May a book of photos taken from the family archives and his life on tour.
“I hope you like it as much as I do,” she said of this book simply titled Billie Eilish, specifying that she has carefully chosen each of the images. The photo album is described as a “journey” in the life of the singer who will of course recount childhood memories and share thoughts about her career.
Billie Eilish had a dazzling start to her career, marked by the immense success of her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? She has already won four Grammys and is the youngest artist to write and perform a James Bond theme song, No Time to Die.
In addition to a hardcover paper version, the Billie Eilish book will appear in digital and audio formats. It should be published, in English of course, around the world on May 11th. The date of the release of the singer’s next album remains unknown.
