The Montreal Alliance has hired Quebecer Elijah Ifejeh for its last two games of the season in the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
The organization made the announcement in a press release Friday morning, when a game was scheduled for the evening, at the Verdun Auditorium, against the Saskatchewan Rattlers.
Ifejeh is a winger with six feet and seven inches. The native of the Quebec metropolis recently played for the Windsor Express, in the National Basketball League of Canada. In 12 games with this club, he averaged 5.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
Previously, Ifejeh rolled his bump in the United States United. He has notably worn the colors of the University of Louisiana at Monroe (2019-2020), the University of Southeastern Louisiana (2020-2021) and the University of Prairie View A&M (2021- 2022).
After Friday's game, the Alliance (4-14) will conclude its first season, Monday in Ottawa, against the BlackJacks.
