MONTREAL | A crowd of about 1,000 people gathered Saturday afternoon in Montreal to protest against the measures introduced in respect of the pandemic COVID-19.
The event has remained static, at the corner of Logan and Parthenais, near the headquarters of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
Fewer than a dozen speakers took the floor to claim for their freedom, among other things, choose to wear the mask and accepting a future vaccine. In the speech, they have on several occasions requested the assistance of the police authorities in this fight, which is why the protesters remained near the offices of the SQ.
Among these speakers, the actress Lucie Laurier, the founder of the movement “Call to freedom” Frederic Pitre and the youtubeur Alexis Cosette-Trudel held speeches, which were applauded by the crowd.
