A second phase of work on the Sauve road in Nîmes, scheduled from October 14

The Gard departmental council announces a second phase of work starting Monday, October 14 on Avenue Georges Pompidou and the RN 106 chute.
Since July 2024, those who use the Sauve road to get to Nîmes city center have not been able to miss the roadworks between the Carreau de Lanes roundabout and the RN 106 chute. They will continue with the start of a second phase this Monday, October 14 on Avenue Georges Pompidou and the RN 106 chute.
According to the Gard departmental council Gard, the work will consist of the repair of the wearing course after carrying out occasional purges. The work will last three weeks and will be carried out at night, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Traffic will be alternated.
The Department, which is working closely with the City on this major project, is announcing a final stage of the work with the treatment of the wearing course at the RN 106 and RD 999 interchange with a traffic light intersection.
